It's been a while since I posted one of these.
This one was from some time ago. I sure do like my cat naps when I am at home. Sarah doesn't like them so much when they interfere with our plans.
Guess what? I'm in the process of moving into my new apartment! Can't wait to show pictures when it's all done!!

Easter Weekend
Remember last month when I was really good about blogging? Obviously I couldn't keep that up for too long. Adjusting to a new fieldwork rotation is keeping me busy!
I was able to go back home this past weekend for Easter. It was great! There is nothing like being on the farm during the spring time. The grass is turning green, calves are being born, and every one is just so much happier. I have to share all the adorable animal pictures from the weekend.
This is our pet cow, Katie, with her 4th calf. Kara named this one Benny. |

Most of our calves born are black so this one was just too cute!! |
Kara has a WEIRD obsession for this cat. Notice how frightened the cat looks. |
Kara's horse, Stormie, had his birthday a few weeks ago. He got a jolly ball! |
Unfortunately, Gabby has been pretty sick lately and needed the vet to come out over the weekend. She is getting old and all of the dust from her hay is finally catching up to her. Hopefully she will be able to pasture soon.
And guess who came to visit me over his Easter break?!?!
Patrick discovered a while ago that if you talk, cows will just stand there and stare at you. He likes to take advantage of this and practice his campaign speeches. (Apologies in advance for the video being a little choppy.)
Have I mentioned that Patrick now has a blog?!? He is sharing funny stories from teaching. He is way talented at writing too! Here's the link:
Hope your Easter weekend was great too. Thanks for reading!

More Baby Crafting Fever
I warned you that there would be more baby crafts in the near future. Is there really anything cuter than a baby with a bow tie? I think not.
This is four different sized onesies with interchangeable bow ties. I love to make the snap on bow ties for babies, but am always sad when they grow out of the onesie. This way they can look cute and dapper for a whole year. I actually decided to put these on my Etsy shop too!

Text-worthy Tuesday: April Fool's
Happy April Fool's Day!
Check out the lovely message I received from Jill this morning.
Check out the lovely message I received from Jill this morning.
Besides St. Angela's Day, this is the best day of the year.
I will admit that I completely bailed on planning any pranks this year, but usually I am planning 4 months ahead. Dad used to go all out on this day when we were kids. You had to be on your toes. He would place buckets of water on top of doors, flip the switch on the fuse box, and unhook a few wires in our cars before school. His best prank was when he programmed a small remote (that fit in his shirt pocket) to work on our kitchen TV. He kept turning the TV off while we were watching. This one lasted longer than April Fool's Day!
One of my favorite April Fool's pranks I ever played was when I made my mom a fake Facebook account and added all of my siblings. No one thought to ask her about it, so I (as mom) kept obnoxiously commenting on all of their stuff for a week afterwards. Yeah, no one thought it was quite as funny as I did once they found out.
Last year I decided to put a prank photo in my dad's wallet. His most recent family wallet photos are of when I was 3 years old (so Kara and Jill weren't even born yet). He always calls us a "bunch of monkeys" so I decided to put this picture in his wallet.
He found it about a week later and thought it was hilarious. He loves to show people his "updated" family picture.
